Projects

EcoStudio is a new endeavor, but builds on a legacy of activities by those involved in EcoStudio and close colleagues. These projects are emblematic of the histories of engagement, methods, and tactics that characterize our work, and the breadth of future collaborations EcoStudio aspires to.

Arts Engagement: Through arts engagement, we work to bring new audiences to conversations about environmental challenges and help communities engage more directly in the process of imagining resilience.

Digital Storytelling: We partner on digital projects that communicate data effectively, immediately, and widely. Through maps, toolkits, storytelling platforms, and other online tools, we make information accessible and intelligible to all.

Environmental Education: We are educators at heart. The more people understand what it is to shape and be shaped by the planet we share with so many others, the easier it is to make decisions about how to build healthier, more resilient communities.

Media/Communications: We work to translate complex environmental research from a wide array of disciplines for a variety of audiences.

Speculative Futures: Cultivating a critical imagination for the future is essential. Through games, speculative art projects with collaborators, and imagination based projects, we seek to help new audiences imagine new worlds and solutions.
